i know you'll probably edit or just plain delete this post jay, but im gonna post it anyway. No one was pimping our community and you know it. Zombie, like me, was just trying to encourage old friends to play together. All EsG members are welcome to come play with us chaps over at the boat, even yourself. In point of fact, you did play on our COD4 server and you asked Luggage if i would be okay with it, which i said i was, because im not pathetic and i dont hold a grudge. Every EsG member is welcome to come play with friends old (and new) on our servers. A fair few already have. The likes of fridge, dark1 and even you friend Zombie. Its quite sad that you so clearly upset him but clearly dont care, you used to be good friends,from what i gather and zombie is a cracking chap who didnt deserve that or the other treatment you've given him.

It is a sad day that EsG is dwindling and dying, im sad to see it, you might not believe that but i am. you will note that i have always sung your praises on my own forum and never been critical. i founded my community on all the best bits of EsG and some of my own ideals and thats why we're going strong now and hopefully for a long while, but all communities die as interest fades, games change or people move on because of real life issues. Sad but true.

Time to bring this little baby back on topic, which is are those who were once regulars going to sticking around or not.

The love for the old days will always be in my heart, cs 1.6 was quite frankly awesome but every other game since has left me pretty cold. Or what little skill I had has deserted me.

Sorry for the tardy reply. I was married on 8th August and have spent the last week in Egypt honeymooning it up

This for me is a sad topic. I still log in semi regularly but as there is rarely a post to read my logging in is becoming increasingly less frequent. If this is truly the end for EsG, sad as this is I would hardly be surprised. With a mixture of the games members play changing, the format they play on changing, and real life creating more and more obstacles to the time we have to play at all I suppose the interaction between us all was bound to decrease. Keeping this going was always going to be hard, but not impossible. I wish I had been able to do more to encourage the community's continued success but I am unfortunately not a very prolific poster at all.

If this place is to be closed down, then for me that decision is for JayCee and possibly Tel too. We all love EsG, and will remember the fun we have had here forever but there is nothing going on here for us any more. Whether the decision is made to continue as things are, wind up, or even attempt to mold the community into another form concentrating on other interests the one thing I am sure of is that JayCee will have the love, respect and understanding of every member of this forum.
